Questions

Good to know before you book.

Don't see your question? Ask it during your free consultation.

How are your fees set?

Every engagement has a fixed fee, quoted after your consultation and confirmed in your engagement letter before work begins. Advisory and reporting work can be quoted as a project or as a monthly retainer. There are no hourly surprises.

Do you work with businesses year-round?

Yes. Advisory, reporting and planning run all year, and many business clients work with us monthly or quarterly. Tax season is only one part of what we do.

Do we need to meet in person?

No. Most clients work with us entirely online, using video calls, e-signatures and secure document sharing. In-person meetings are available by appointment.

When should I book for tax season?

As early as possible. Booking in January or February gives you the widest choice of times and leaves room to resolve missing slips before the April 30 deadline.

I'm behind on my taxes. Can you help?

Yes. We help clients catch up on returns from prior years. Filing often unlocks benefits and credits you've been missing, and we'll work with CRA on any balance owing.

I received a letter from CRA. What should I do?

Note the due date and book a consultation. Share the letter securely and we'll explain what CRA is asking for and prepare the response with you.
